During the week of 27^th the baby’s system keep on growing and the eyelids are combined altogether. After this 27^th week of pregnancy they normally open and the light sensitive part of the eye which is named as the retina begins to develop. Also the layers which form the retina will let the baby eyes to get light and continue the information which is getting to the brain and make image. This processing is known as ‘sight’.

Apart from this the mother’s womb carries to climb the height of abdomen at this juncture. It is now almost 2.8” above the umbilicus.
