This IELTS is one of the common internationally commended English Language Test which estimates one’s proficiency in the English Language. It also calculates the level of proficiency of a person and where an individual stands in conditions of communicating easily in a region where English is the official language.

About the test:

The IELTS test is mainly of two types- Academic and General, it is depend on the candidate, student, migrant or worker. The test has divided into four parts- speaking, listening, writing and reading. The listening and speaking are same in both the types but the writing and reading parts are different. Listening section includes four sections of forty questions for 30 minutes. The Reading section includes three sections of forty questions for one hour. And lastly in speaking section includes 11-14 minutes of face to face speaking with a certified examiner.

Who accepts test:

IELTS exam was originally recognized by all New Zealand, British, Canadian and Australian institutions, but recently, the United States have started accepting IELTS score.

Registration Procedure:

IELTS test is carried out in over 500 locations around the globe. Test centers are planned in the official website of IELTS. It is also carried out on forty eight different dates and every month nearly 4 times. One can download the application form or you can ask at the test centre. After filling the form you have to submit at the test centre directly with the required fee. On the submission of the application form, the centre verifies the date, venue and time of the test. The speaking section can be carried out one week before or after the test date.

Test Scores:

The result of this test will be declared within the 13 days. The score details includes overall score and candidates section score on a band level of 1 to 9, 1 being smallest score and 9 being the exceptional performance.
