How to make Plain Cake

1 Egg
225 gm Refined flour
85 gm Margarine
120 ml Milk and water
3.5 teaspoon Baking powder
Salt a pinch
85 gm Sugar
Few drops of vanilla
Method to prepare Plain cake:
Sieve flour baking powder and salt together and then rub in the margarine and put sugar in it. Now mix to a dropping consistency with the egg and liquid. Now add vanilla essence and combine them well. Rut in a greased 18 cm (7”) and bake at 205 C (400 F approx) for about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
